2025 Suzuki V-Strom SX Launched In India With New Colours: Inspired By The 800DE’s Bold Styling?

Suzuki Motorcycle India has refreshed its adventure touring lineup with the launch of the 2025 V-Strom SX. The updated model now comes with two new colour schemes, bringing a fresh visual appeal while retaining its tried-and-tested adventure-ready hardware. With its new look, many enthusiasts are drawing comparisons to the bigger V-Strom 800DE, thanks to the similar rugged design cues. ( Suzuki V-Strom SX)

What’s New In The 2025 V-Strom SX?

The most noticeable update lies in its new dual-tone colour options, which give the bike a more premium and sporty road presence. Suzuki has introduced bold shades with contrasting graphics, aligning the motorcycle’s styling closer to the 800DE’s adventure aesthetics. The sharp beak-like front cowl, tall stance, and muscular fuel tank continue to underline its ADV DNA.

Engine And Performance

The 2025 V-Strom SX continues to be powered by the familiar 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, producing 26.5 PS of power and 22.2 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine remains tuned for strong mid-range performance, making it suitable for both city commutes and long-distance touring.

Features And Tech Package

Suzuki has retained its feature set from the previous model, including:

  • Full-digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity
  • Turn-by-turn navigation support
  • USB charging port
  • Suzuki Easy Start System
  • LED lighting setup

The combination ensures riders get the right balance of utility and modern convenience while exploring highways or rough terrain.

Underpinnings And Ride Setup

The ADV continues with telescopic front forks and monoshock rear suspension, tuned for comfort and stability. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, paired with dual-purpose tyres to handle both paved and mild off-road conditions. Braking is managed by disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS.

Pricing And Rivals

While Suzuki hasn’t made major mechanical changes, the visual refresh aims to keep the bike competitive in the segment. The 2025 V-Strom SX is priced close to its outgoing version, targeting riders who want a budget-friendly yet reliable ADV. Its key rivals remain the KTM 250 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and Yezdi Adventure.

The 2025 Suzuki V-Strom SX may not bring mechanical overhauls, but its new colour updates and 800DE-inspired design cues ensure it stays relevant in India’s growing adventure motorcycle market. For riders seeking a practical, versatile, and stylish tourer without stretching into higher displacement territory, the refreshed V-Strom SX could be an ideal pick.
