Consumers already bearing UPI costs through broader economy: RBI governor

The priority lies in enhancing the payment infrastructure and increasing utilization. Any fee implementation should consider potential effects on user engagement and ongoing investment, as consumers do indirectly incur costs, albeit often unnoticed.
