After Senate, US House passes Russia sanctions bill; 100% tariff threat looms for India

The US House has successfully passed a sanctions bill aimed at Russian officials and the energy sector. This new legislation empowers President Trump to impose tariffs on significant buyers of Russian oil. India might encounter a staggering 100 percent tariff on its imports due to its energy dealings with Russia. The bill also broadens sanctions against Russia and prolongs measures against Iran for an additional five years.
