Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has expanded its classic motorcycle lineup with the launch of the Honda CB350C Special Edition in India. Priced at ₹2.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new model combines a timeless retro design with modern-day performance and features—aimed at enthusiasts who crave both nostalgia and practicality.
The CB350C Special Edition is built on the popular CB350 platform but brings unique retro-inspired styling cues. It comes with a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, chrome-finished elements, round LED headlamp, and a split-seat design that adds to its vintage character. The Special Edition further stands out with exclusive paint schemes and subtle detailing on the fuel tank and side panels, ensuring a more premium road presence.
Powering the motorcycle is the same 348.36cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, tuned to produce 20.7 bhp and 29.4 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Honda has retained its assist-and-slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts and better ride control. This setup ensures the CB350C continues to deliver a relaxed, torque-heavy performance suited for both city rides and long-distance cruising.
Despite its old-school looks, the CB350C Special Edition doesn’t compromise on technology. Key highlights include:
These features make the CB350C not just stylish but also practical for today’s riders.
At ₹2.02 lakh, the CB350C Special Edition sits slightly higher than the standard CB350 variants but justifies the premium with its design upgrades. It will compete against retro-styled motorcycles like the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa 42, and Yezdi Roadster in the mid-size cruiser segment.
With the launch of the CB350C Special Edition, Honda aims to strengthen its foothold in the retro-motorcycle category, a segment currently dominated by Royal Enfield. The brand is clearly betting on blending heritage-inspired design with modern engineering to attract young buyers as well as nostalgic riders.
The Honda CB350C Special Edition is more than just a cosmetic update—it’s a bold attempt by Honda to position itself as a serious contender in India’s booming retro-motorcycle market. Stylish, feature-loaded, and priced competitively, it’s likely to win attention from riders looking for the perfect mix of old-school charm and new-age reliability.
