Xiaomi’s much-anticipated 15T series is edging closer to launch, and fresh leaks have given fans their first real look at the upcoming lineup. With design changes, upgraded hardware, and a beefier battery, the 15T and 15T Pro are shaping up to be strong contenders in the mid-premium smartphone space.
Premium Look with Distinct Finishes
According to leaked images, both models carry a Leica-branded triple camera setup housed in a square module, keeping Xiaomi’s design language consistent with its flagship line. The Pro variant features a slightly curved back panel with a metallic frame, enhancing its premium feel, while the standard 15T sticks with a flatter rear design that prioritizes comfort and practicality.
The Pro also boasts an IP69 water and dust resistance rating, which could make it one of the most rugged premium devices in Xiaomi’s catalog.
Power Upgrade: 5,500mAh Battery
One of the most exciting upgrades is the inclusion of a 5,500mAh battery across both models, a clear step up from the 5,000mAh units seen in their predecessors.
- Xiaomi 15T Pro: Rumored to support 90W fast charging, allowing users to refill the phone within minutes.
- Xiaomi 15T: Slightly toned down with 67W charging support, but still fast enough for daily heavy use.
This bigger battery paired with optimized chipsets hints at longer endurance without compromising on performance.
Performance & Camera Setup
Under the hood, Xiaomi is dividing performance tiers between the two variants:
- 15T Pro: Expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+, a high-performance chipset designed for demanding users.
- 15T: Likely to be powered by the Dimensity 8400+, balancing power and efficiency for mainstream users.
For photography, both models feature three rear cameras:
- 15T Pro: A 50MP OmniVision OVX9100 primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom, and a 13MP ultrawide.
- 15T: Similar setup but with a slightly different 50MP OmniVision OVX800 main camera.
On the front, both phones are tipped to house a 32MP selfie camera, continuing Xiaomi’s focus on social media-ready imaging.

Expected Price and Availability
Leaks suggest Xiaomi will launch both phones in September 2025. Prices in Europe are tipped as follows:
- Xiaomi 15T: Around €649 (~₹66,000) for the base 12GB + 256GB version.
- Xiaomi 15T Pro: Starting at €799 (
₹81,000), going up to €899 (₹91,000) for higher storage.
The lineup will reportedly launch in Black, Grey, and Gold color options.
The Xiaomi 15T series appears to blend premium aesthetics, improved endurance, and top-class performance at competitive pricing. The Pro model is clearly tailored for power users who demand cutting-edge features, while the standard 15T provides a practical yet capable option at a slightly lower price.
If these leaks prove accurate, Xiaomi may have another bestseller on its hands.
