GST refunds: Delhi CM Rekha Gupta says Rs 1,600 crore dues to be cleared before Diwali; traders to gain liquidity boost

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that pending GST refunds of approximately Rs 1,600 crore will be released to traders before Diwali. This decision aims to enable traders to celebrate the festival with greater prosperity. The Delhi GST department has developed an advanced IT module in collaboration with IIT-Hyderabad. This module will expedite the refund process.
